NO SIGNAL
kinetic Sculpture, two projectors, wall drawing and drawing on paper, 2018
"No signal" is based on a kinetic sculpture that is installed in the center of the gallery and rotate around it self. It seems to be searching for the signal, projecting the blue light with technical input information such as "HDMI / VGA / NO SIGNAL".
While constantly searching for the signal and never finding it, the blue light of the void is projected on neon colour drawings of mechanical objects that have light, such as an ATM and a xerox machine. Whenever the projector lights hit the drawing they glow. In that way, the light of the "no signal" in fact becomes the source for a new, enigmatic light sources.
